Feature Guide
Collective Agreements
Search, read, and compare collective bargaining agreements by sector or IDCC code.
Overview
What is the Collective Agreements module?
The Collective Agreements module gives you access to the full database of French conventions collectives — collective bargaining agreements that govern employment conditions across industries and sectors. You can search by sector name, IDCC code, or company, and read the full consolidated text of each agreement.
Agreements are kept up to date automatically. When a new accord or avenant is published, the consolidated text is updated within 24 hours. Version history lets you see exactly what changed between each update.
The comparison tool lets you put two or more agreements side by side to compare clauses on specific topics — salary scales, notice periods, working time — saving hours of manual cross-referencing.
IDCC code lookup
Search any convention collective by its IDCC (Identifiant de la Convention Collective) code for instant access.
Article-level search
Search within an agreement to find clauses on specific topics: notice periods, trial periods, salary grids, etc.
Cross-agreement comparison
Compare the same clause type across multiple agreements. Ideal for multi-entity restructurings or sector benchmarking.
Automatic updates
Every avenants and modification is incorporated within 24 hours of official publication. No manual tracking needed.
How to use
Search by sector or IDCC code
Use the search bar to find an agreement by its sector name (e.g. 'Bâtiment', 'Métallurgie') or its 4-digit IDCC code.
IDCC 3248 = Métallurgie · IDCC 1518 = Commerce de détail
Open the agreement
Click on the agreement to open its full consolidated text. The table of contents on the left lets you navigate to specific sections.
Browse articles and clauses
Navigate through sections: Scope, Working Time, Salaries, Notice Periods, Disciplinary Procedures, etc. Each article shows its last modification date.
Compare clauses across agreements
Select 'Compare' and add another agreement. Choose the topic (e.g. 'Notice Period') to see both agreements' clauses side by side.
Export or copy clause text
Copy any clause text directly or export the full agreement as a PDF for use in advice memos or client reports.

Tips & best practices
Search within the agreement
Use Ctrl+F or the in-page search to find specific terms within a long agreement instead of browsing section by section.
Check the scope article first
Always read the 'Champ d'application' (scope) article first to confirm the agreement applies to your client's situation.
Use comparison for restructurings
When advising on multi-entity mergers, use the comparison tool to identify which agreement offers more favorable terms.
